The COVID Prison Archive is one facet of the “Pandemic as a Portal? COVID, Agency, and the Carceral System” research project conducted by student researcher Natalie Albrecht and Professor Anna Muller at the University of Michigan-Dearborn . The archive is comprised of artwork, written accounts, and interviews with justice impacted people. By creating this webpage, it is our hope that we will be able to inform the greater public of what life is like for thousands of people inside Michigan prisons as well as the million people incarcerated nationwide in an accessible and powerful way.
